Kenya's wildlife safaris

  Aberdare National ParkAberdares National Park
The Aberdares National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain
Range, a fairyland awesome in its majesty and beauty. The dense forest yields to bamboo, and then to moorlands - a plateau of romantic views, unfamiliar flora, waterfalls on icy streams and yes! a variety of wildlife; elephant, rhino, giant, forest hog, reedbuck among others and carnivores are represented by lion, leopard and serval cats while birds are not only plentiful but also dazzling.

  Amboseli National ParkAmboseli National Park
One of Kenya's most popular parks, mainly due to the magnificent backdrop of snow-capped Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape. The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains game creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's
paradise.

  Nairobi National ParkNairobi National park
Nairobi, as a capital city, is unique in having a wildlife park at its doorstep. Indeed, theonly city in the world which neighbors a natural game protection area, with over 100 species of mammals. The city borders the park on all but the southern perimeter so it is possible to photograph a rhino, browsing peacefully among the whistling thorn with high rise office buildings in the background. Some of the wildlife is migratory and when there is grazing and water outside the park it moves out into Maasailand through the unfenced and untamed southern boundary. The Park borders the traditional South Kapiti Plains and Kitengela Migration Corridor and attracts a range of exciting game.

  Samburu National ParkSamburu National Reserve
The reserve lies north of Nairobi in the hot and arid fringes of the vast northern region. It is within the lands of the colourful Samburu people and the area is scenically splendid - wild and savage with game concentrated along the Uaso Nyiro River;a picturesque life-giving artery rising in the Aberdares and dending in the Lorian Swamp.
The reserve harbours a number of wildlife species rarely found elsewhere in any numbers. These include Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk and Beisa oryx all only found to the north of the Equator.

Marine ParksMarine Parks & Reserves
Marine parks and reserves, the white sandy beaches,
historical monuments, contemporary culture and the warm climate give the Kenya Coast a unique tourist product. Almost 47% of Kenya's tourism occurs here. Nationally about 52% of the total hotel beds are at the coast, and 95% of the visitors to Kenya use the coast as a base for inland safaris.
You can swim in the warm, clear water of the Indian Ocean or visit one of the seven marine parks that are host to a wonderful under-world. A pair of fins, snorkel and mask are all you need to see superb coral reefs and exotically tinted tropical fish that come so close you can almost touch them.

  GiraffeRift Valley Lakes
The Great Rift Valley is a massive fault in the earth's crust with the valley floor being approx. 2000 ft. below the general land level. The spectacular lakes of the Great Rift Valley offer a great variety of birdlife, including large concentrations of flamingo.
Lake Baringo lies in the solitude of the semi-desert, a haven of peace and beauty in harsh, rugged but majestic surroundings. Whilst Lake Bogoria has been described as 'the most beautiful view in Africa' , Lake Nakuru is World famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth and Lake Naivasha the highest of the Rift Valley lakes recognised as a birdwatchers fantasy.
lesser flamingo.

Cheetahs in MaraMaasai Mara National Reserve
The main highlight of any safari is the world-famous Masai Mara, rich in wildlife and rolling landscapes the Masai Mara presents the greatest wildlife theatre on earth. Also home to the Masai people, the most spectacular time to visit is traditionally July to October, the annual migration season with over a million animals involved. To get an overview there is no better way of adding to the thrill of safari than taking to the air in an exciting Balloon Safari.
