Day
01:- Nairobi / Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
After breakfast, we depart Nairobi and drive to Namanga border town arriving
at about 10:00 a.m. After immigration formalities we drive to Arusha where
we shall have lunch. After lunch, we proceed to Ngorongoro crater and
arrive at our base hotel on the rim of the crater for dinner and overnight.
Day
02:- Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we descend 600 metres into the Crater floor armed with
packed lunch for a full day game viewing. The Crater floor is a 260 square
kilometres wilderness with an abundance of plain and forest game. In our
game drive we expect to see the rare Black Rhino, the giant-tasked Elephant,
thousands of wildebeest, Gazelles, Buffalo, Lions and other plain game
as well as the Maasai people who have inhabited the crater for the past
200 years. In the Laetoli conservation area of the crater, we shall see
the hominid footprints preserved in volcanic rock 3.6 million years. In
the nearby Olduvai 100 metres deep canyon lies the crandle of mankind.
Here we shall see the skull of the Nut cracker man unearthed by Dr. Louis
Leakey in 1959.
Day
03:- Ngorongoro Crater / Tarangire National Park Tanzania
After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time
for lunch. After lunch, we embark on an extensive game drive in Tarangire
National Park. Tarangire River is the main permanent water source in an
ecosystem choked with plain mammals. There are hundreds of Elephant, thousands
of Wildebeest,
Zebra, Buffalo and Gazelle mingling with rare species such as the Eland
and Orynx. Tarangire tropical vegetation is also a remarkable feature
to admire. During the dry season, the grass turns platinum blonde with
the gigantic squat baobab trees decorating the landscape. Dinner and overnight
at our Tarangire hotel.
Day
04:- Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we embark on a full day gameviewing. Dinner and overnight
at our Tarangire hotel.
Day
05:- Tarangire National Park / Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast, we continue with gameviewing en route to Arusha arriving
in time for lunch. After lunch we tour Arusha town in the
afternoon. Dinner and overnight at our Arusha Hotel.
Day
06:-
Arusha Tanzania / Nairobi Kenya
After breakfast, we depart for Nairobi armed with packed lunch arriving
late in the afternoon.
