Day
01:- Nairobi / Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania
After breakfast, we depart Nairobi and drive to Namanga border town arriving
at about 10:00 a.m. After immigration formalities, we drive to Arusha
where we shall have lunch. After lunch, we proceed to Ngorongoro crater
and arrive at our base hotel on the rim of the crater for dinner and overnight.
Day
02:- Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we descend 600 metres into the Crater floor armed with
packed lunch for a full day game viewing. The Crater floor is a 260 square
kilometres wilderness with an abundance of plain and forest game. In our
game drive we expect to see the rare Black Rhino, the giant-tasked Elephant,
thousands of wildebeest, Gazelle, Buffalo, Lions and other plain game
as well as the Maasai people who have inhabited the crater for the past
200 years. In the Laetoli conservation area of the crater, we shall see
the hominid footprints preserved in volcanic rock for the last 3.6 million
years. In the nearby Olduvai 100 metres deep canyon lies the crandle of
mankind. Here we shall see the skull of the Nut cracker man unearthed
by Dr. Louis Leakey in 1959.
Day
03:- Ngorongoro Crater / Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in
time for lunch at our base hotel. The park is a thin green band of forest
running along the 600 meter high red and brown eastern wall of the Great
Rift Valley and the white soda shores of Lake Manyara. This is the home
of the renowned tree climbing Lions of Lake Manyara National Park.
In the afternoon, we embark on an extensive game drive and admire the
park's huge herds of Elephant Buffalo, dazzling varieties of birds, as
well as Hippos, red billed Quelea, Pelicans, Cormorants and thousands
of Flamingo. In the evening, we return to our base hotel for dinner and
overnight.
Day
04:- Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we embark on a full day gameviewing. Dinner and overnight
at our Lake Manyara hotel.
Day
05:- Lake Manyara / Arusha Tanzania
After breakfast, we continue with gameviewing en route to Arusha arriving
in time for lunch. After lunch we tour Arusha town in the afternoon. Dinner
and overnight at our Arusha Hotel.
Day
06:- Arusha / Nairobi Kenya
After breakfast, we depart for Nairobi armed with packed lunch arriving
late in the afternoon.
