NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK

We drive to National Park only 20 minutes from the city centre. The park has several prides of lions and 50 species of plain animals such as Giraffes, Gazelles and Rhinos.

KENYA NATIONAL MUSEUM AND SNAKE PARK

We drive to Kenya National Museum which is distinguished for its early man fossils, such as the million year old Turkana boy discovered by Dr. Leakey and others. We also visit the Snake Park in the Museum grounds which has a large variety of african snakes.

KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM AND GIRAFFE MANOR

We visit Karen Blixen Museum, a colonial house on the northern plains of the Ngong Hills, formally the domicile of Isak Dinesen who authored the world famous book "Out of Africa". About ten minutes drive from the house is the Giraffe Manor where we shall see and feed Rothschild Giraffes.

BOMAS OF KENYA CULTURAL CENTRE

We drive to Bomas of Kenya, a cultural centre twenty minutes from the city centre. The centre is well known for talented groups of dancers who display traditional dances as performed over the centuries by various Kenya tribes. We also inspect several traditional huts showing the types of dwellings used by various Kenya tribes over the centuries.
